چکیده
Concrete is the most common building material used worldwide. Significantly high strength values have been achieved owing to developing technology. Besides compressive strength, durability properties should also be taken into consideration since concrete exposed several external effects throughout its service life. Durability are mainly associated with voids in internal structure and surface of concrete. Even if not any effects, contains pores micro-cracks. These cracks enlarge influence new developed. Therefore, various methods prevent permeability harmful liquids gases structures. In this study, permeability-reducing admixtures (PRAs) cement dosages were produce mixtures. The main purpose examine interaction these additives dosage. Workability, depth water penetration under pressure tests conducted observe effect PRA on parameters. admixture crystallized created a fuller volume. While increased as result product, decreased. Slump revealed that additive was compatible all dosages, it did significantly affect workability Expectedly, dosage increased, while positive gradually contributed decrease penetration, but impact decreased increased. It concluded based present findings additive, which effective at lowest dosage, by 9.44% 26.09%.

Influence of Shrinkage-Reducing Admixtures on Early-Age Properties of Cement Pastes
Because most shrinkage-reducing admixtures (SRAs) significantly reduce the surface tension of a cement paste pore solution, they will naturally influence all physical properties and processes that are dependent in some way on surface tension. Such properties include internal relative humidity, capillary stresses, and freezing point depression, all via the Kelvin equation and its variants (Kelvi...
متن کاملEffect of Antifreeze Admixtures on Cold Weather Concrete
Kashmir is located in a region where winter temperatures are very low. During the winter months, the temperature in Kashmir is often below 0⁰ C. Generally concrete placed in colder regions with the help of insulated forms as well as heaters to protect freshly mixed concrete against freezing. These practices try to incorporate unnecessary carbon and leads to an disagreeable carbon footprint. The...

This paper presents a review of the properties of fresh concrete including workability, heat of hydration, setting time, bleeding, and reactivity by using mineral admixtures fly ash (FA), silica fume (SF), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), metakaolin (MK), and rice husk ash (RHA). Comparison of normal and high-strength concrete in which cement has been partially supplemented by miner...

In this research, 210 concrete cube specimens (15cm) were made replacing 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, and 60 percent of slag powder from Isfahan Steel Mill for cement. The control specimens were made with 350 kg/m3 cement content and the water cement ratio in all specimens was 0.51. The Slump value and compressive strength of concrete specimens in 7, 28 and 90 days were obtained and th...
